Microsurgery

Micro Surgery is the evolving field of minimally invasive surgery using the smallest incisions and instruments available to effectively and safely perform the surgery. Currently we have instruments that are as thin as 2.7 mm in diameter, and are inserted through the skin using tiny puncture incisions. This leads to negligible pain and a fast recovery, since trauma to the body is bare minimum.

These micro-instruments can be used to perform a variety of procedures including the LAP-BAND®, REALIZE BAND®, Hiatal Hernia Repair, Gallbladder removal, and other laparoscopic abdominal surgeries.
